Epstein Financial Group announced the addition of Brian N. Caine, ChFC as Director of Retirement Income Planning. Brian started his financial career with E.F.Hutton in 1986, and later joined MassMutual’s Retirement Services Division in 1999, implementing a national educational program for participants separating from their employer’s plans. In 2001 he became the Regional Sales Vice President covering MassMutual career agencies in the Midwest and Northeast regions, providing trust and investment services for clients and agents. Since 2003, Brian has been the Annuity Specialist for MassMutual’s Charter Oak Insurance and Financial Group, Holyoke, MA. As the Director of Retirement Income Planning, Brian will provide EFG clients his expertise and knowledge in creating successful retirement outcomes customized for each individual’s unique objective.
Leo J. Polverini, Jr.
Director of Retirement Services
Leo J. Polverini, Jr. has more than thirty years experience in the corporate retirement services industry. Having worked with hundreds of clients, Leo has the demonstrated experience to structure a retirement program consistent with a broad cross section of corporate objectives. As a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer of one of the largest retirement services providers in the industry, Leo brings valuable insight into optimizing the value realized by his clients. Leo also served on the Investment, Asset Allocation and Due Diligence Committees for a $40 billion institutional investment product platform.
As Director of Retirement Services Leo will capitalize on his experience and the significant resources of Epstein Financial Group to identify and deliver retirement program solutions focused on each client's unique objectives and desired outcomes.
Director of Insurance Services & Director of Client Appreciation
Lorie handles all new and existing life, disability and long-term care insurance for Epstein Financial clients. She recently had become an Agent with MassMutual's Charter Oak Insurance and Financial Services Company. Prior to joining Epstein Financial, Lorie worked with Connecticut Attorney's Title Insurance Company for 17 years as a residential and commercial underwriter and with a local lender as a residential mortgage underwriter for 15 years, Lorie also handles all Client Appreciation Events for Epstein Financial. She is a member of the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce and Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce. Lorie has been with the company since August, 2014.

Director of Annuity and Investments
Lisa Thompson is the Director of the Annuity & Investment Department and Chief Compliance Officer for our firm. She is responsible for assisting clients with their individual investment requests. Lisa retains a FINRA Series 6 license and has been with the firm since 1994.
Retirement Plans Specialist
Krista Krupa, AIF® is the Retirement Plans Specialist. She is responsible for 401K plan maintenance, participant and plan sponsor relations and all plan-related functions. Krista also implements educational training classes for our participants' 401K clients. Krista continually provides her expertise to our participants and our plan sponsors when questions arise. She has obtained her FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses and has also earned her Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation in 2015. She worked with MassMutual Retirement Services for more than three years prior to joining Epstein Financial Services in 2013.
Manager of Client Information
Paula is the Manager of Client Information for our Family Chief Financial Officer Process Division. She gathers all the detailed information and creates cash flow reports for our clients' future planning needs. She comes to us from a local accounting firm where she worked with many owners of closely held companies. She also prepares small business tax returns and financial statements. She has an extensive background in the bookkeeping and payroll fields.
Executive Assistant to the Founder
Connie Reese is the Executive Assistant to the Founder, coordinating and maintaining business events and the progression of business projects. She contributes her experience as a certified Paralegal, holding a Bachelor’s Decree in Advanced Legal Studies and is a registered Notary Public. Connie joined the firm in April of 2015.
Sheila Craven is our controller and is responsible for all financial aspects of the firm. She also serves as our Personnel Director. With over twenty-five years of experience in finance, Sheila holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a finance concentration.
Retirement Plan Consultant
Matthew Gilmore joined the firm in June of 2016 as a Retirement Plan Consultant. He has extensive experience as a Business Development Consultant for business owners, plan administrators, advisors, and third party administrators. Matthew holds his Accredited Investment Fiduciary Certification and has expertise in the review, evaluate and discussion of business’ 401(k) retirement plans and expertise in the Defined Benefit pension plan options. He is a very accomplished Retirement Services Consultant, having eight years of experience with MassMutual and The Hartford, with regard to 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plans, investment and cost analysis, and participant education.
